Prohibited Advertisements
The following list includes most methods and types of prohibited advertisements on the Mansat Tuwaiq platform:
-
All ads not related to buying and selling.
-
Posting topics on the platform.
-
Advertising to add suggestions or discuss an issue with the platform’s management. Ads are strictly for buying and selling only. Adding suggestions to improve the platform in listings harms advertisers’ ads. The best way to suggest or complain is to contact us via the Contact Us form.
-
Ads with incomplete details.
-
Poor quality ads.
-
Weak communication from the advertiser with interested members. For example, someone posts a car for sale but does not respond to calls or private messages.
-
Ads posted in the wrong section. For example: posting a request for a car in the listings section, or posting furniture for sale in the Cars section, or posting a Jeep Cherokee for sale in the Ford section.
-
Posting an ad while having another banned account. You must first resolve the ban issue before posting any new ad.
-
Adding a picture that is not of the actual item if the item is a car, even for illustration purposes.
-
Adding pictures of an item different from the one being sold. For example: posting a used phone for sale but showing a picture of another used phone of the same type.
-
Any ad containing any form of racial or discriminatory content.
-
Any ad containing incorrect information, whether intentional or unintentional. For example: an ad stating that a car has not been in an accident, but later it is proven that the car was in an accident. Advertisers must only include verified and accurate details.
-
Posting an ad for the purpose of defamation. If you have a complaint against an advertiser, please contact us and clarify the issue. If the problem is with a party not related to us, please file a complaint with the competent authority.
-
Posting an ad title inconsistent with its content. For example: writing in the title “Camry 2011” but in the ad saying you are looking for a Camry 2011. Visitors may think there’s an actual 2011 Camry for sale.
-
Copying an ad or part of an ad from another advertiser.
-
General ads that do not specify a particular item. For example: ads titled “We have land for sale” or “We have cars for sale in our showroom.” The correct way is to advertise a specific item, e.g., “We have a plot of land for sale, area ___, in ___ district, Riyadh,” or “We have a car, model ___, year ___.”
-
Donation and aid requests. The law prohibits donations and charity work outside legally approved frameworks.
